Last night I performed at Fertile Ground, the amazing new artist series at The National Black Theater of Harlem. It was a joy and a privilege to share the stage with stellar young artists and to perform for the warm and welcoming home-town audience. Can’t WAIT to go back. The Fertile Ground crew is AMAZING.
I’ve been on tour most of the year, since my new album, Wild Blue, came out. (check it out if you have not by clicking here!) I am looking forward to some shows upcoming at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, The Back Eyed Susan in upstate New York, The Yellow Sofa in Northampton, Ma., and at the SWAN festival in Sofia, Bulgaria, and various other venues – all in the works right now. I’ll tour again in March, April, and May. Right now I am WRITING and PRACTICING and making NEW MUSIC. Most especially I’m passionately involved in creating a jazz-folk opera for the stage from Andrea Hairston’s brilliant novel Redwood and Wildfire. And other projects are in the works too… so look out for news and for more touring later in the spring. (You can get updates on this page.) Check out Wild Blue, and
Contact me (Click here for contact page.) if you would like to book me for concerts, play my music/interview me for your radio show or podcast, use my songs for movie or video projects, or get involved in creating a powerful artist and musician community working to make this world a better place.
Pan’s December, 2011 tour with the Boston String Quartet. Update: This tour was serious fun, beautiful music, great musicians. I’ll be doing it again next winter! So come back and get the news!
